Covid Virtue Signalers

Who is really following the science?

To all the ‘follow the science virtue signalers’. What about the number of tests going up? Wouldn’t that explain the surge in cases? Also, why doesn’t anyone talk about the death rate? Which continues to go down as positive test results go up. I say yes, more testing. Let’s see how low that death rate really is, and see who is really following the science. Let’s see if the total destruction of our economy, violence in our cities (which have become war zones), demonization of our police, and the unmeasurable effect this has had on peoples mental well being, was all truly worth it in the end.

Quick notes on COVID19

An estimated 1.4 million health care workers lost their jobs in April alone, despite the claims that hospitals are being completely overwhelmed everywhere. Coronavirus also has a 0.28% crude mortality rate to date. Of people under the age of 65 that rate falls to 0.09% (Using New York City as data source). Far off what the ‘experts’ warned us it would be from the beginning. Furthermore, there is question on what exactly is being defined as a COVID-19 death. It has been reported in numerous places that doctors are being pressured to record deaths as COVID-19 deaths.

“If you died of a clear alternate cause, but you had Covid at the same time, it’s still listed as a Covid death,” Dr. Ngozi Ezike, the director of Illinois’s Department of Public Health, explained to reporters.

You’re not Crazy

Undoubtedly, we still have a lot to learn about this virus. Common sense measures should be taken. Wear a mask, follow social distancing guidelines, don’t be moronic, and we should get through this. With that being said, don’t let yourself be ‘anti-science’ shamed by people who clearly haven’t taken the time to look into the facts for themselves.
